PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method which can adjust the luminance of an organic EL panel easily and efficiently, and can manufacture the organic EL panel with reduced luminance variations. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the organic EL panel with reduced luminance variations is intended for the organic EL panel comprising a main body of the organic EL panel and a circuit board with attached resistor elements which are connected with each other. This method includes (1) step to manufacture the main body of the organic EL panel, (2) step to measure the luminance of a display by passing the predetermined drive current through the main body of the organic EL panel, (3) step to classify the main body of the organic EL panel measured on its luminance into several luminance ranks, (4) step to manufacture a circuit board with attached resistor elements served for putting the luminance of the main body of the organic EL panel near to the targeted value for each luminance rank, and (5) step to connect the main body of the organic EL panel classified to any one of the luminance ranks in the above step (3) with the circuit board which is manufactured in the above step (4) and corresponds to the relevant luminance rank.
