PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep operation of a co-generation facility appropriately even in the case that excess or shortage is found about the quantity of exhaust heat generated by a prime mover and the quantity of exhaust gas required by a exhaust heat boiler in the co-generation facility. SOLUTION: In the exhaust heat boiler multi-can installing unit consisting of the prime mover 4 such as an engine for generating high-temperature exhaust gas and the exhaust heat boilers 1 for recovering heat from the exhaust gas generated by the prime mover 4, a plurality of exhaust heat boilers 1 are installed in parallel and high temperature exhaust gas generated from the prime mover 4 can be dispersed and fed to the installed plurality of exhaust heat boilers 1. An exhaust gas flow-in controller 2 for controlling the exhaust gas feed quantity is provided for each exhaust heat boiler 1. In the case that any of the exhaust heat boilers become inoperable, exhaust gas feed is stopped to the inoperable exhaust heat boilers and control to lower output of the prime mover 4 is conducted.
