Prophylactic protective endpiece for thermometric probe

The disposable prophylactic protective endpiece is intended to be fitted removably onto a thermometric probe (3). It consists of a sheath (1) consisting of a thin film made of a plastic material, one end (1') of which is closed in a leaktight manner, and the other end of which, which is open, is fitted with a tongue (2). The latter allows introduction of the sheath onto the body (4) of the probe so that the closed end is in close contact with the measurement element (5) of the probe. It also makes it possible to remove the endpiece after a temperature measurement. Use is envisaged for medical thermometric probes. <IMAGE>
