<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which the serial number of a part can be easily confirmed without disassembling electronic equipment, a serial number confirmation method, and a serial number registration method. <P>SOLUTION: The serial number of an image display 21 constituting a TV set 1 is preliminarily stored in a storage part 27, and read from the storage part 27 and visibly displayed on the image display 21 based on a reading request. According to this structure, in case of trouble of the image display 21, time and work for disassembling the TV set 1 to confirm the serial number can be omitted, and quickness of quality determination or maintenance work can be enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
