PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating apparatus capable of decreasing oxygen density efficiently. SOLUTION: Heat medium 20 for heating in a steamy tub 10 is heated. A saturated vapor layer 22 is formed. An object to be heated is immersed in the saturated vapor layer 22 and heated. An entrance side exhaust chamber 130 and an egress side exhaust chamber 140 are formed in the port opening side of space where saturated vapor exists. The apparatus includes a recovery unit 220 for recovering heat medium from air suctioned from the entrance side exhaust chamber 130 and the egress side exhaust chamber 140, and heat medium.
