PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric shedding machine of a loom, with which shedding motion conditions suitable for weaving conditions inputted on a loom by an operator are automatically set. SOLUTION: The electric shedding machine 1 for driving a plurality of heddle frames 2 by motors 3 comprises a setting device 5 that sets a weaving condition composed of factors including a weaving pattern, rotational speed of the loom, weft type, weft density and textile width, a storage device 7 that stores a shedding motion condition database consisting of a plurality of weaving conditions and shedding motion conditions, which are composed of a plurality of factors including a dwell period and a dwell phase and is related to the weaving conditions, to drive heddle frames 2, a calculating device 8 that, on the basis of the set weaving condition and the shedding motion condition database, immediately extracts the shedding motion condition corresponding to the set weaving condition when such corresponding shedding motion condition exists or performs interpolation calculation of a shedding motion condition corresponding to the set weaving condition from a weaving condition related to the set weaving condition when such corresponding shedding motion condition does not exist and a controlling device 6 that controls rotations of the motors 3 on the basis of the extracted or interpolated shedding motion condition.
