<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft device and a vehicle equipped with the anti-theft device which can detect whether or not the operation related to the theft based on the variation of the length of a buffer member by mounting a sensor less subject to disturbance while suppressing expense. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle is equipped with a plurality of wheels, and a suspension device wherein a length of the buffer member varies according to the load applied to the wheel. In the anti-theft device which detects whether or not the operation related to the theft has been performed from the outside, the buffer member has an inner cylinder filled with operating fluid, an outer cylinder forming an air chamber between the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder, a piston movable relative to the inner cylinder, an orifice inducing the operating fluid by the moving of the piston from the inner cylinder to the air chamber, and a thermistor disposed in the air chamber. The anti-theft device detects variation amount of the length for each buffer member based on an electric amount related to the thermistor, estimates the load for each wheel based on the variation amount to be detected, and outputs the effect to the outside, when it is determined that the operation related to the theft has been performed from the outside based on the estimated load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
