PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize a state of a machining error of a workpiece due to heat deformation of a machine tool. SOLUTION: A difference between a coordinate at a prescribed position of the machined workpiece and a reference coordinate or a difference between a coordinate of a prescribed position of the machine tool and the reference coordinate are measured by a touch probe by timing determined in advance, and the measured values are successively stored in a memory. The history of the measured values stored in the memory is displayed on a history display screen 5D of a CRT together with the reference coordinate and allowable values. By this history, the state of the machining error due to heat deformation of the machine tool can be easily recognized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
