<p>This invention relates to furniture used as school furniture and in particular to a functional orthopedic furniture set for students and an armchair included in that set. The functional furniture set includes a table having a folding cover mounted on supports so it could be displaced vertically with a first step t<SUB>1</SUB>. The armchair has a seat, a back and armrests, mounted on the supports so they could be displaced vertically with a second step t<SUB>2</SUB>. The back with the armrests can additionally be displaced vertically with a second step t<SUB>2</SUB>. At least an additional displacement has a step S, which differs from the two others and from additional displacement to at least one to three steps t<SUB>3</SUB> in comparison to the shifted position, which permits a more precise adaptation of the parameters of the table and armchair for pupils being at different stages of growth, according to the dynamics of the change of the body at each stage.</p> |
