<p>A mobile communication terminal system having a packet service selecting function and a control method thereof are provided to enable a user to decide whether to download packet information after confirming a download transfer rate or overload information, thereby maximizing download quality for a packet service. A mobile communication terminal system(1) having a packet service selecting function comprises a display(2), a controller(3), and a memory(4). The display(2) is installed in a part of a body of the mobile communication terminal(1), and displays a selection menu for enabling a user to decide whether to download packet information before downloading the packet information. Before downloading the packet information, the controller(3) receives channel transmission information from a base station system(8) and receives overload information from a packet service server(10) to configure download selection menu information. After that, the controller(3) executes a packet download function according to a selection command.</p> |
