A mobile communication terminal having a function of outputting an effect sound and an effect sound outputting method thereof are provided to tune beats to a simple music and to enable plural persons to play in a concert by implementing plural instrument sounds. A mobile communication terminal having a function of outputting an effect sound comprises a motion recognizing sensor(110), a storage unit(108), a controller(102) and a sound processor(114). The motion recognizing sensor(110) senses a motion of a mobile communication terminal. The storage unit(108) stores each kind of effective sound. The controller(102) detects a certain effective sound stored at the storage unit(108) according to the motion of the mobile communication terminal sensed by the motion recognizing sensor(110). The sound processor(114) outputs the effect sound, offered by the controller(102), to the speaker.
