A hinge device of a storage case is provided to improve sealing properties between an upper end of a main body and an inner surface of a cover when the cover is closed. A hinge device of a storage case includes a hinge shaft, a movable member, and a compression spring. The hinge shaft has a first cam(53). The first cam rotatably connects a main body and a cover, and has a cam surface with valleys and peaks. The movable member has a second cam(62). The second cam has a cam surface with valleys and peaks corresponding to the first cam surface. The compression spring presses the movable member. The cam surfaces of the first and second cams have an opening guide surface and a closing guide surface. The opening guide surface is sloped in a spiral direction to apply force to rotate the hinge shaft in an opening direction. The closing guide surface is sloped in a direction opposite to the opening guide surface to rotate the hinge shaft in a closing direction. |
