A speedometer inspection device is provided to occupy only small installation space and to precisely judge accuracy of a speedometer of an object. A device for inspecting a speedometer(22) measuring the speed by a laser includes a rotary body(20) turned about a rotary axis by a driving unit, and at least one reflecting plate(21) rotated integrally with the rotating body to reflect the laser irradiated from the speedometer and move a reflection point reflecting the laser by rotation. The reflecting plate is installed obliquely to the rotary axis along the outer periphery of the rotary body. Or, the reflecting plate is spirally installed along the outer periphery of the rotary body.
