PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest providing an occupant with an improved comfortableness when the occupant rests the head backward. SOLUTION: A headrest body 13 comprises a center supporting part 14 for supporting the back of the head of the occupant, and an auxiliary supporting part 15 positioned at the lower part on the front side of the center supporting part 14. The auxiliary supporting part 15 comprises a center auxiliary supporting part 16 for supporting the back of the head from diagonal lower part, and a right and a left auxiliary supporting parts 17L and 17R for supporting the sides of the head from diagonal lower parts. The auxiliary supporting part 15 is supported so as to tilt around a support shaft part 12c of a stay 12 for supporting the center supporting part 14, and placed in a use position for allowing the central auxiliary supporting part 16 to support the back of the head of the occupant from the diagonal lower part and in a nonuse position where it is retreated from the use position.
