IMAGE DECODING/REPRODUCING APPARATUS

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only realize the reduction in capacity of a frame memory of an image decoding/reproducing apparatus but also reduce a circuit scale.

SOLUTION: Image data transferred between a requester permitted to access a shared memory 130 by an arbitration part 121 and the shared memory 130 is expanded/reduced by a scaling part 122. Processing contents in the scaling part 122 are switched by a request ID of the requester and data transfer direction information, whereby the capacity of a frame memory 131 can be reduced because image data can be compressed and written to the frame memory 131. Since the scaling part 122 is shared, it is unnecessary to provide a scaling function for each requester.
