TAPE DRIVING CONTROL METHOD FOR TAPE RECORDER

A method for controlling the tape traveling of a tape recorder is provided to restrain a picture broken phenomenon generated because a magnetic tape loses a traveling height in the initialization of reproduction and record by uniformly maintaining the traveling height of the magnetic tape when a stop mode is converted into a reproduction mode. A rotary drum is rotated(S10). A capstan motor is rotated in a reproduction direction 0.3 to 1.5 times of an 1X-rating speed(S20). The capstan motor is stopped(S30). A loading motor is clockwise rotated, and a pinch roller assembly and a review arm assembly are loaded(S40). A reproduction mode is recognized, and the loading motor is stopped(S50). The capstan motor is rotated to reproduce a picture(S60).
