Members have bank units (104) to use in the community to perform activities and to provide feedback (102) about other members and the content they produce. Certain activities in the community have associated costs, which a user must be able to afford in order to participate. Because bank units (104) are limited in supply, they acquire value within the community. Members therefore have an incentive both to spend their bank units (104) judiciously and to act in such a way as to earn more units for themselves.</p>
