PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production/distribution schedule generation apparatus capable of obtaining an optimal solution in real time.

SOLUTION: The production/distribution schedule generation apparatus includes a production/distribution simulator of discrete system formed of a Petri net model on a basis of each production type, for simulating a production/distribution process representing a distribution state and a distribution restriction of the production/distribution process; a mathematical model retention apparatus for retaining a mathematical model formed of a state equation for each production type, in which the above distribution state and the distribution restriction are represented by fetching information related to the generation of the distribution schedule of interest; and an optimization calculation apparatus for performing optimization calculation for the mathematical model using a predetermined evaluation function, and for calculating a distribution instruction to the production/distribution simulator. By repeating the optimization calculation processing combined with the simulation by use of the production/distribution simulator, the production/distribution schedule in the production/distribution process is generated.
