KEYPAD FOR CELLULAR PHONE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

A keypad for a mobile terminal and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to freely select a width and height of a key by pressing a base film and a liquid silicon rubber applied on the base film with upper and lower molds. A printed surface is formed on a rear surface of a base film to provide a colored key(S1). A hole is formed on the base film at a portion in which a boss is formed(S2). A silicon rubber is applied on an upper surface of the base film(S3). The base film and the liquid silicon rubber are pressed by upper and lower molds to form a boss under a bottom of the hole and a display and a damper on the upper portion of the base film(S4). After an outer flange of a formed pad is cut along a shape of a product, a previously manufactured key is adhered on the pad(S5).
