RENAL DISEASE AMELIORATING AGENT IN DIALYSIS PATIENT OR FUNCTIONAL FOOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a renal disease improving agent in dialysis patients, an agent for preventing and/or improving arteriosclerosis in dialysis patients or a functional food, and furthermore an application method using them.

SOLUTION: The renal disease improving agent in dialysis patients and the agent for preventing and/or improving arteriosclerosis in dialysis patients contain coenzyme Q10 as an active ingredient. The functional food having a renal disease improving effect in dialysis patients and a preventing and/or improving effect on arteriosclerosis in dialysis patients contains the compound as an active ingredient. Coenzyme Q10 is used in preparing a composition for improving the renal disease in dialysis patients and for preventing and/or improving the arteriosclerosis in dialysis patients. A method of improving the renal disease in dialysis patients and a method of preventing and/or improving the arteriosclerosis in dialysis patients comprise taking in a composition containing the compound as an active ingredient.
