PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce storage capacity of information when data which does not belong to a group recorded in a recording medium are reproduced. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a reproducing means of an optical pickup 3 or the like in which a track as data and a truck of an optical disk 1 as a recording medium in which group management information of a group to which the track belongs is recorded are reproduced, and a system controller 10 in which when data which does not belong to the group are recorded in the optical disk 1, data which does not belong to the group out of all data of the optical disk 1 are retrieved based on the group management information, and the retrieved data are reproduced by the reproducing means.
