DISPLAY APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus capable of accurately controlling the value of a current applied to a light emitting element by improving the response speed of an output current; and to provide a control method thereof.

SOLUTION: This display apparatus comprises: a light emitting element 50; a switching part 40 to switch on and off power, which is supplied to the light emitting element 50; a comparing part 20 to compare a predetermined first reference voltage and an output voltage which is proportional to a current applied to the light emitting element; and a control part 30 to compare a comparison voltage which is output in accordance with a comparison result of the comparing part and a predetermined second reference voltage, in order to control the switching of the switching part.
