An imaging system includes an image sensor 102, a first light source 108A on-axis with the image sensor, and a controller. The image sensor is configured to generate an image of a field of view including a retroreflector 120, such as a human eye. The first light source is configured to illuminate the retroreflector, and the controller is configured to output the image and location data for the retroreflector. A second light source 108B off axis with the image sensor may be provided and images of the field of view may be successively captured when illuminated by each light source in turn. Differences between the two images may then be used to locate the retroreflector, a specular reflection from which will appear only in the image illuminated by the on-axis light source. |
