A suction grill structure of an air conditioner is provided to secure an introduction passage of air when an air suction opening is opened to a suction grill by separating a front surface grill and a rear surface grill with a rib. A suction grill structure of an air conditioner includes a front surface grill(32), ribs(34), a rear surface grill(36), and hinge bosses(38). The front surface grill can completely close or open an air suction opening. The ribs protrude from edges of one side surface of the front surface grill vertically. The rear surface grill is integrally formed so as to integrally connect both ends of the ribs and secures a passage for air by the height of the ribs when the air suction opening is opened. The hinge bosses protrudes from both side surfaces of the ribs adjacent to one end of the rear surface grill and are rotataly installed on the inner side of the air suction opening. The edges of the hinge bosses, the edges of the front surface grill and the ribs corresponding thereto are disposed so as to coincide with each other.
