<p>An RLP(Radio Link Protocol) NAK(Negative Acknowledgement) round processing method in a mobile communication system is provided to be capable of repeatedly performing an RLP NAK processing function which demands retransmission of not-received frames at RLP layers of transmitting/receiving sides, thus the not-received frames can be recovered at the RLP layers to the maximum. The number of times an RLP NAK round is repeated and the number of times NAK messages are transmitted per RLP NAK round are set(S11). It is decided whether normal frames are received(S12). If so, it is decided whether RTD(RLP Trip Delay) set by an RTD timer expires(S13). If so, it is decided whether the received frames are retransmission frames received by a retransmission request(S15). If so, it is decided whether the number of times the RLP NAK rounds are processed exceeds the set number of times of the RLP NAK rounds(S16). If so, the received frames are abandoned, and a process for not-received frames is completed(S17).</p> |
