The valve has an elongated valve body (1) made of stainless steel. A cylindrical throttle valve (3) has a peripheral wall (10) traversed by radial bores (11, 12) with respect to body`s gas e.g. oxygen, inlet channels (5, 6), when the valve is open. Radial bores (13, 14) are axially distant from body`s gas outlet channels (7, 8). The bores (13, 14) open out in an annular notch (15) communicating with the channels (7, 8), when the valve is open. The valve (3) is movable to a valve closing position in which the bores (11-14) are axially shifted with respect to the channels (5-8) and the notch.
