METHOD FOR PREPARING PROTEIN RESISTANT AND EYE COMPATIBLE SOFT CONTACT LENS

A soft contact lens for preventing dry eyes and repressing protein absorption and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to produce the soft contact lens harmless for human bodies and with good wearing comfort at low cost by grafting MPC(2-Methacryloyloxyethyl Phosphorylcholine) on the surface of the existing lens by plasma. A soft contact lens for preventing dry eyes and repressing protein absorption is produced by grafting a dryness resistant material and a protein absorption resistant material on the surface of the existing contact lens. The protein absorption resistant material is PEG(Polyethyleneglycol Methacrylate), and the molecular weight of the protein absorption resistant material is 130~10,000. The dryness resistant material and the protein absorption resistant material are grafted after activating the surface of the contact lens by plasma.
