A liquid lens is provided to prevent breakage and to secure good adhesion and stability by forming an elastic body between a cylinder and a joined part between upper and lower plates. A liquid lens includes a cylinder(1); upper and lower plates(6,7) joined at upper and lower sides of the cylinder; an elastic body(9) joined between the upper plate and the upper part of the cylinder or between the lower plate and the lower part of the cylinder; and at least one kind of liquid filled in the cylinder. The elastic body is one of nitrile rubber, styrene rubber, silicon rubber, fluorine rubber, ethylene-propylene rubber, neoprene rubber, polyacryl rubber, butyl rubber, and fluor-ethylene rubber, and is formed like an O-ring.
