<p>The current carrying conductor is divided into two symmetrical branches (L1,L2) to form a loop into which an integrated circuit (IC) is inserted. Two sensors (S1,S2) mounted on the chip measure the magnetic fields produced by the sections currents. The integrated circuit includes an electronic circuit to process the differential voltage between the output voltages of the sensors which is linearly proportional to the sum of the branch currents (I1,I2).</p> |
