An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel and a method of manufacturing the LCD panel are provided to prevent ball spacers from moving to pixel regions by forming a spacer hole in a passivation layer and a gate insulating layer and forming the ball spacers in the spacer hole to improve uniformity of call gap and prevent light from leaking. An LCD panel includes a gate line(102) and a data line formed on a substrate, intersecting each other, a common electrode formed on the substrate in parallel with the data line, a common line(156) connected to the common electrode and formed in parallel with the gate line, and a gate insulating layer(112) covering the gate line, the common line and the common electrode. The LCD panel further includes a thin film transistor formed at the intersection of the gate line and the data line, a passivation layer(118) covering the thin film transistor, the data line and the gate insulating layer, a pixel electrode(152) connected to the thin film transistor, a spacer hole(100) penetrating the gate insulating layer and the passivation layer, and at least one ball spacer(200) formed in the spacer hole.
