PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crushing bit and a wood crusher capable of enhancing the amount of treatment by improving the efficiency of crushing wood to be crushed. SOLUTION: The crushing bit 31 attached to the peripheral barrel surface of a drum 19 of a crushing rotor 32 of the wood crusher for crushing the wood to be crushed is provided with a plurality of crushing surfaces 45a-45c are provided which are disposed in an array in a direction of a crushing rotor shaft so as to face the front side of a rotational direction of the crushing rotor 32 and which are different in level between front and rear in the rotational direction of the crushing rotor, namely, such a shape is used that the difference in level between front and rear in the rotational direction of the crushing rotor makes the crushing surfaces divide into the plurality of members in the direction of the crushing rotor shaft.
