PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope imaging system capable of performing the fluorescent observation with appropriate hue contrast even if the filter characteristics are irregular. SOLUTION: The blue excitation light is applied from a light source device to a subject via a light guide of an endoscope in the fluorescent observation mode, and an optical image is captured by CCDs 33R, 33G and 33B inside a camera head mounted to an eyepiece part with the fluorescence and reflection light from the subject. The optical image is input in R, G and B signal processing circuits 51a-51c inside a CCU 5. The signal of the blue excitation light image output from the B signal processing circuit 51c is corrected at an appropriate level of luminance by a color correcting circuit 52, and is color-composed with the signal of the fluorescent image output from the R signal processing circuit 51a by a picture signal composing circuit 53 to be output to a monitor.
