PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator with a built-in integrated circuit capable of reducing the time required for IC testing at shipping by changing oscillation frequency using an external switching signal. SOLUTION: A timing capacitor is charged with a capacitor charging current. When the charged voltage of the timing capacitor exceeds a reference voltage, the timing capacitor is discharged. The oscillator with a built-in integrated circuit uses the charged voltage of the timing capacitor as an oscillation output. A PMOS transistor MP5 and an NMOS transistor MN2 are provided as a frequency changing means that controls charging/discharging cycle of timing capacitors C1 and C2, by switching signal ON/OFF from outside of the integrated circuit, to change oscillation frequency.
