PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary joint capable of reducing the number of required parts and arranging all the rolling members in a rotating section to realize rolling contact, favorable as a joint means of a novel parallel mechanism. SOLUTION: This rotary joint is constituted by fixing a basic part block 14, a pair of bearing protruding parts 15, 15 provided protrudedly on an upper face of the basic part block 14, and a square block 29 using a first axial line j in the horizontal direction crossing an axial line i passing through the center of the basic part block 14 orthogonally as the center of rotation between these bearing protruding parts 15 and 15 turnably, letting a supporting shaft 16 using a second axial line k crossing the first axial line j and on a face including the first axial line j orthogonally as a central line pass through the square block 29, and mounting a pair of swinging arms 17, 17 across the square block 29 to swing freely.
