A matrix type flat panel display device is provided to reduce manufacturing cost of the flat panel display device by hardly increasing the number of source line driving circuits, even when the flat panel display device is widened. A matrix type flat panel display device includes a matrix-type flat display panel, pixels, a source line driving circuit(350), and a gate line driving circuit(250). Plural source lines, which are arranged in a horizontal direction, and plural gate lines, which are arranged in a vertical direction, are arranged to cross each other in the matrix-type flat display. R, G, and B sub-pixels are formed at the intersections of the source and gate lines. The source line driving circuit drives the source lines, and the gate line driving circuit drives the gate lines.
