PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device by which heating of a sheet is carried out favorably, and the sheet after the fixing can be removed from a heating roll favorably. SOLUTION: The fixing device 40 heats the sheet while transporting it from a nip N1 formed by a heating roll 72 and a first roll 74 to a nip N2 formed by the heating roll 72 and a second roll 76, and fixes the developer image onto the sheet.
