<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a control while the engine is stopped, to change over into the condition in which a fuel can be supplied continuously and the electric power consumption of a control module can be saved. <P>SOLUTION: An engine is equipped with a normally closed type solenoid valve at the fresh air inlet port of a canister, and the control module is transferred from the low consumption mode to the normal mode when a fuel supply hole cap or a fuel filler lid is open during the engine being stopped, and judgement is made whether fuel supply is conducted actually on the basis of the residual quantity in the fuel tank and/or an increase of the pressure, and based upon the result from judgement, a decision is passed whether a valve opening signal is to be fed to the solenoid valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
