PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a connecting relation between a logical disk and a host computer on a storage device from being changed due to any erroneous operation in a storage device for defining a host computer which is able to perform access to each logical disk group. SOLUTION: A connecting relation change control means 160 manages whether to permit the change of configuring elements for each of logical disk groups 120-1, 120-2 and 121, and manages whether to permit the change of assignment destination for each logical disk 110 to 114, and when a connecting relation change request for requesting the change of the assignment destination of the logical disk is transmitted, the connecting relation change control means 160 changes the assignment destination of each logical disk under such conditions that the change of configuring elements is permitted for the logical disk group to which the logical disk is assigned and the logical disk group as the new assignment destination of the logical disk, and that the change of the assignment destination is permitted for the logical disk.
