PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding type rice transplanter so as not to make a worker in contact with an operation lever, when the worker walks on a deck part at the side direction of a front bonnet. SOLUTION: This riding type rice transplanter is provided by making an upper column 46 and a lower column 45 equipped with a handle 24 at its upper end as bendable in front and rear direction through a tilt mechanism 47, protruding the upper column 46 in upper direction from the top part of the front bonnet 19 of a traveling machine body, arranging a composite lever 49 at the one end of the bonnet 19 so that its base end part is protruded in the outward width direction of the traveling machine body from its outer peripheral surface and the free end side of the lever can be rotationally operated in front and rear direction, and by an upper surface view, constituting so that the composite lever 49 approaches to near the center of width direction of the traveling machine body relative to the upper shaft of the steering on rotationally operating the free end side of the composite lever 49 in the front part direction of the traveling machine body.
