PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a learning test method in which bad influence caused by beat components being peculiar for an optical disk having a guide groove of a wobbling shape is eliminated, and accurate learning test evaluation can be performed. SOLUTION: A learning test region about one parameter of a disk is made length integral multiple of wobble beat period width caused in a reproduced wobble signal of wobble, test recording about one parameter value is performed for the learning test region, reproduction of test recording, reproduction evaluation, and preservation of a reproduction evaluation result are performed. Then, it is repeated for each parameter value, and an optimum parameter value is decided based on the preserved reproduction evaluation result. Thereby, influence for the learning evaluation result can be prevented even if dignity of a recording data clock in learning test data is partially reduced owing to wobble beat.
