PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve capable of preventing swing of a spherical valve element with an annular valve seat opened. SOLUTION: An inlet 4, a valve chamber 3, and an outlet 5 are formed by a valve casing composed of a main body 1 and a lid member 2. The annular valve seat 6 is provided between the inlet 4 and the valve chamber 3. The spherical valve element 7 opening and closing the annular valve seat 6 is arranged in the valve chamber 3. A coil-like spring 8 for energizing the spherical valve element 7 onto the annular valve seat 6 is provided. The spherical valve element 7 is guided in the axial direction of the annular valve seat 6 by a cylindrical screen 9 having a side face having slightly larger inside diameter than outside diameter of the spherical valve element 7 and opening many filtration holes on the side face.
