PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curing agent composition that is excellent in storage stability and flowability and hardly exerts influences on the environment. SOLUTION: The curing agent composition is used for curing a thermosetting resin and comprises a powdery alkylperoxymaleic acid as a curing agent and hydrophobic fumed silica, each dispersed in a liquid fatty acid ester. The hydrophobic fumed silica is obtained by a hydrophobization treatment of fumed silica with an organosilane compound. Preferably, the average primary particle size of the fumed silica is at most 50 nm. Preferably, the contents of the alkylperoxymaleic acid, the hydrophobic fumed silica and the liquid fatty acid ester are 10-50 mass%, 1-10 mass% and 50-85 mass%, respectively. Desirably, the curing agent composition further comprises at most 20 mass% of a metal soap having an average particle size of 1-150μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
