PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer for a piezoelectric inverter by which downsizing and low cost are attained, while maintaining stable operation. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric transformer includes an input portion 11, which inputs an electric signal, and an output portion 12 which amplifies and outputs the electric signal, wherein capacitors 16a, 16b comprising internal electrodes 14a, 14b and external electrodes 15a which face each other are formed at an end 13 of the output portion 12.
