FIELD: mining, particularly coal industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: self-rescue breathing apparatus adapted to be used in atmosphere containing 12-13% of oxygen comprises filtering box with inlet orifice and breathing valve. Arranged in the filtering box are layer of mine gas drying substance and layer of catalyst, which oxidizes carbon oxide. Filtering box also has membrane oxygen generator and methane shutoff membrane. Layers of above components and membrane are arranged in the following order with respect to inlet orifice: drying substance layer, methane shutoff membrane, membrane oxygen generator and catalyst layer. Hopcalite may be used as the catalyst. ^ EFFECT: providing of unlimited duration of staff stay in methane-and-air medium containing carbon oxide within normal limits. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
