FIELD: production of smoking article with reduced resin and nicotine content. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves providing tobacco mixing, during which process collecting wastes and extracting with liquid carbon dioxide; separating miscella; producing at least part of swollen vein by moistening of tobacco vein; impregnating using separated miscella and simultaneously increasing pressure; thereafter relieving pressure to atmospheric pressure value at the rate providing freezing of carbon dioxide absorbed as part of miscella; heating at heating rate providing dry distillation of carbon dioxide; forming smoking article from swollen vein and cut tobacco. ^ EFFECT: reduced resin and nicotine content of smoking article without deteriorating its organoleptical properties. ^ 1 ex
