FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed internal combustion engine contains cylinder, cylinder head with cavity movably mating with insert, travel limiters, piston whose crown is furnished with piece engaging with cavity of cylinder head when piston moves upwards, systems to deliver energy carrier and exhaust of waste gases, firing system in cylinder head cavity with piston in top dead center, crankshaft and connecting rod. Cavity in head is provided with movably mating insert and travel limiters to limit its travel to piston. Cavity is provided with adjustable stop and insert return device in form of spring. Cavity has rectangular-section insert with conical hole and device for fixing insert in upper position at ignition of fuel. ^ EFFECT: improved dynamic characteristics of working process. ^ 1 dwg |
