A system and a method for printing images, and a host device and an image forming device applied to the same are provided to improve a printing speed by changing slow objects among the object forming printing data into fast objects. The image forming device(100) measures and transmits a required printing time of each test pattern by printing the test pattern of each object. The host device(200) determines the objects to be changed among the objects included in the printing data by receiving/comparing the required printing time of the test pattern of each object with a preset reference time and changes the determined objects into other objects below the reference time. The image forming device generates and transmits the printing data including the changed objects to the image forming device. The object includes fonts, images, and vector graphics.
