A color filter substrate and a manufacturing method are provided to form a color layer with a uniform thickness by spraying a color ink along an aperture line in one direction and moving the color ink to the aperture along a flow groove formed between apertures. A light blocking layer(20) is formed on a substrate(10) and includes a plurality of apertures(30) at a predetermined region. A plurality of color layers(50) are formed by connecting the plurality of aperture in one direction. A flow groove(60) is formed at the light blocking layer between the apertures in one direction. The plurality of color layers are formed so that color layers of different colors are alternately disposed.
