HARD DISK DRIVE HAVING IMPROVED DRIVING EFFICIENCY AND SEEKING PERFORMANCE

An HDD(Hard Disc Drive) in which driving efficiency and a seek characteristic are improved is provided to reduce the rotary resistance of an actuator and improve the seek characteristic of data by structurally improving the flexibility of a flexible cable. A free bending part(125), put on at least a part of a flexible cable(120) along a length of the flexible cable(120), has a thickness which is relatively thinner than the other part of the flexible cable(120). The flexible cable(120) includes the first supporting part(121), the second supporting part(122), and a connecting part(125). The first supporting part(121) is contacted and supported to an actuator(130). The second supporting part(122) is contacted and supported to a bracket(180). The connecting part(125) mutually connects the second supporting part(122) with the first supporting part(121). The connecting part(125) is not fixedly supported so that free modification is permitted. The free bending part(125a) is put and formed on a part of the connecting part(125).
