<p>An automatic sail type swing blade vertical axis wind mill comprises: a wing panel(1), a cross rod(3), a wing stem(2), a driving vertical axis(7), a tower(6), a generator(8), an overrunning clutch(9), a centrifugal clutch(10) and an overdrive gear(11). It is characterized in that the wing panel(1) consists of a wing tip(14), a wing section(17), a wing joint(16) and a wing root(18). A feathering mechanism is located in the wing joint, another feathering mechanism and a swing mechanism are mounted in the wing root, within a wing stem is mounted a regulating mechanism and an overspeed feathering mechanism. The feathering mechanism can ensure each wing panel can synchronously feather and unload, and can be safe when they are subject to strong wind, the swing mechanism can ensure the wing panels start at low speed and automatically stabilize speed to improve the speed ratio and efficiency, and the efficiency can reach to above 30% . The present invention uses canting pull steel wires which pull the wing panel(1) and cross bar(3), and by means of the canting pull steel wires(12) and (13), each cross bar is pulled, and the tower(6) is supported on the ground by steel cables(4), therefore, the whole means is lighter so that it becomes reliable, and the cost of manufacture is significantly reduced.</p> |
